How the money is distributed, when the robots do the work? Will the rich take all the money (Dystopia) or giving some money also to the poor? When the work is no longer done in traditional wage work, what will happen to taxation and the welfare state?
Tough questions, I’m trying to reflect on some of the answers.
Basic income is a solution which is considered in different countries. Person should get sum of money (eg. Finland has been talked about 400-1000 € / month) doing nothing. In addition, more money should acquire by working, entrepreneurial, etc., without that basic income would decrease. Basic income to being tested in the Netherlands, in Finland is a testing agreed in the Government Programme. Probably quite a political torsion its implementation. Basic income can also be global system.
+Bureaucracy will be reduced, the principle of one-stop shop
+Other social benefits disappear
+Not so dependent on wages from work (if the sum sufficient)
-Makes some people passive
-Pensions must collect yourself
-Succeeds only in countries that collect taxes (welfare state)
In Finland has argued that the tax authorities could take care of the basic income. It would give money and taxes. Employment Office’s task would be only job searching. Other social welfare offices could be closed down. This may be achieved even on the principle of one-stop shop.
Money from eg. Voluntary work
Some countries have been discussed if people could get money more than just from work. Eg. Voluntary Service could be a reason for this.
Employees may own part of the company. Thus, they are investing more work, because they have salary and dividends. Also the unemployed could get these capital income. Some smart companies commit for employees in this way.
+Income from capital
An increasing number of job performance could be divided into contracts within. This work could be taken against the different skill levels (of course, depending on the work). If the contract is not time-critical, it could participate in such a professional as a beginner. Thus would the young and the long-term unemployed more easily show their abilities and learn a variety of jobs.
+Young people and the long-term unemployed will find a job
-Not suitable for time-critical work
How are divided into contract work?
Anyone can share their property with others in Sharing economy. An apartment, a car, etc. can be rented, for example Airbnb allows you to rent your apartment and Uber your own car + rental of the work. Labor input can also be rented, eg cleaning. Sharing economy is largely based on the use of social media and peer review. Only the best reviews received can continue to work.
+The apartment and car utilization of idle times
-Requires a lot in order to get a good feedback. This area will require further development, can not go on like this.
Little stuff which can accumulate a little money.
+ No entrepreneur responsibility
+ Fairly easy to organize
So, in summary we can say that the work shattered into smaller and more irregular. It is possible to do so, but changes are needed to current labor market rules. The tax revenue falls to bottom out, so societies are deformed in the direction of the lighter of the organization.
I will update the article as soon as something new significant appears. All of these things you can find easily online for more information.
